Hobart has once again outclassed its competitors to win a European industry award celebrating the best in sustainability.
The warewash company enjoyed a successful day in Germany in late February scooping the highly sought after ‘Das Grüne Band’. Awarded by Berlin-based publishing house Huss, the accolade recognises the best in sustainable products, concepts and solutions.
Shortlisted for the award by a panel of industry experts, Hobart was ultimately victorious after readers of a special environment supplement voted the company their sustainable brand of choice.
Tim Bender, Sales Director – Hobart Warewashing UK, said: “It is fantastic to have won this award based on our ecological credentials. Sustainability has always been something close to our hearts at Hobart and it is great that industry experts and customers alike recognise our efforts.
“We know that a great end result is no longer enough for our end users and we continually develop our products to improve sustainability, quality and practicality so as to uphold our reputation as the leading manufacturer of commercial dishwashers.
The award marks a strong start to the New Year for the warewashing experts and builds on recent success. In late 2015, Hobart won international recognition for the quality and service of its industrial equipment, beating six competitors to claim the prize.
Hobart has outscored six major international competitors in terms of the quality of its warewashing equipment to claim an industry accolade from leading hoteliers and caterers.
