Offenburg – HOBART, the Offenburg-based warewash specialist, has a new Sales Manager. Markus Bau takes over the sales management of HOBART warewashing, cooking and food preparation technologies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He intends to consistently enhance sales in these territories. Bau, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, will continue to be responsible for sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
In 1998, Markus Bau started his career at HOBART as a project manager and was later responsible for various sectors in order handling, production, and sales. He changed industries in 2006; at 49 years of age, he returned to HOBART as a Director System Engineering & Export in 2016. In this function and equipped with general commercial power of representation, he was responsible for the business units Airline Catering, Global Marine, industrial cleaning, and export.
